Completely having kittens.. ..with Cliff Richard

High time for another post...

so..

I am going to completely having kittens

and join Michelle (hope you will be feeling better soon again, dear!!) at THE TRUE BOOK ADDICT again for a new issue of

My guest today is British singer Cliff Richard...

I just found this song.. and I simply had to share it with you:

I don't even know whether I love it because it's so cute or if I should be worried about a guy singing about unicorns...

Anyway.. Here is my cat picture of the day - no unicorns.. don't be afraid..

It's a really young Cliff Richard - with two really young kitten...

~ ca. 1963 ~

Thank you very much for visiting!!

Completely having kittens.. ..with Sylvie Vartan

Welcome to an issue of Completely having kittens at NOT SOPHISTICATED

~ this is part of a meme hosted by Michelle @ THE TRUE BOOK ADDICT ~

I am not sure that all of you will know her - but here is my guest for today:

Wonderful French singer Sylvie Vartan!

In case you want to hear a bit of her:

(I suggest that you listen to her while you're looking at the pics below the music clip..=

...

She not only met and had fun with The Beatles:

No - She had some covers with cats:

1962

1965

And there are also some photos showing her with feline friends:

... somehow I am feeling sorry for this cat.. doesn't look too happy.. no?

And again the last are my favourites:

well.. I guess that's enough raving about Sylvie Vartan for today..

Have a great Cat Thursday!

Thank you very much for listening!

Yours

Irene

Good bye, Davy Jones!

Thank you for all you gave us, Davy!

December 30, 1945 - February 29, 2012

I always loved this song:

Yours truly

Irene

I think she didn't want me to go alone.. ;")

- and: It is much safer if you'll take a cat with you. :")

Ha! As if! I have chosen this picture because I now know, that this is a cat faking unskilfulness:

Tuesday night I was half asleep when I heard a strange chafing sound some where in the dark and then followed a rastling - and suddenly it smelled like fish in my flat.

So - what do you think did my sweet girl Mina do?

Yes, indeed. She thought it was time for a Midnight party! And opened a fish packing (like this in the picture) by herself.

That's it: No more Enid Blyton for my cats. And now their food is for sure not available for them anymore..

There is a word in German which means someone has a sweet tooth - we say that this person is a Naschkatze (a mix of "eat titbits" = naschen and "cat" = Katze) and that's exactly what Mina is. She loves titbits. (Anyhow she is so light that I once was worried - but the vet said it's all okay - she is a lightweight.)

(This picture is called "Naschkatzen" it's by Rudolf Epp.)

So, kindest regards from

Miss Lucy, Miss Mina and Fräulein Irene Palfy

Actually I have posted my cat picture of the week here. (yeah - Mina again..)

But I want to post this too - because this cat made me laugh so many times and I want to share that: (LOOK AT HIS PAWS!!! ISN'T HE THE CUTEST GUY?? AGAIN: HAVE YOU NOTICED HIS PAWS??)

Maybe I am a bit overtop - you know: today I saw two hares - and they were bigger than my cats..

I can't help it: I love Maru. :")

Have a lovely week! And our kindest redards to you and all your feline friends! ;")

My picture of the week shows Mina - ready to hit the road:

She carries the bag in which I store my bathing costumes - maybe she wants to tell me that I should get more excercise? - I hope she doesn't mean that I should wash me again because in her opinion I am stinking.. I think I am pretty neat.. - well, I thought that. ;")

Another cat with wanderlust:

Here we have Mina demonstrating her "No more pictures, please"-attitude. :")

Have lovely week! :")
