One of my favourite artists is Käthe Kollwitz, whose drawings and sculptures I simply adore. She was able to show poverty and despair in a way that really touches me - and is never corny.

A fellow blogger did a post about her one year ago: her Käthe Kollwitz post - her blog A Polar bear's Tale is really marvellous and contains beautiful artwork. I just stumbled over her blog and now I am completely thrilled about it.
